Arif spent over a decade working in finance before founding Dolphin Insights. As a qualified ACCA with 15 years of experience, he knows how reporting really works inside businesses - the gaps, the bottlenecks, and what decision-makers actually need. That hands-on background gives him a rare ability to translate business problems into clear, scalable reporting solutions. From hospitality to retail to transport, he’s led transformations that cut through noise and deliver lasting value. Ishfaq Ahmed

Over two decades of experience building data foundations that last.

With over 25 years in data and senior roles at Microsoft and the Bank of England, Ishfaq is the steady hand behind the architecture at Dolphin Insights. His expertise covers everything from enterprise-scale platform design to governance, integration, and long-term data strategy. He’s worked across finance, retail, government, and utilities, helping organisations move from fragmented systems to structured, trusted data environments. Ishfaq ensures that what we build is scalable, secure, and aligned with what the business actually needs - both now and down the line.

Ali Ahmed

Practical delivery meets deep engineering experience.

Ali brings 15 years of experience designing and delivering data platforms at scale, including time at Capgemini and across clients like British Land, Reach PLC, and Ahold Delhaize. He leads the engineering function at Dolphin Insights, managing the end-to-end delivery of data solutions - from ingestion and modelling to deployment and optimisation. Ali’s approach is grounded in real-world delivery: he knows how to build systems that are robust without being overengineered, and scalable without losing sight of the goal. He’s trusted by clients for his clarity, calmness, and commitment to getting it right.
